Dakar Session: the collective in the studio, keyboards, drums and glowing lamps, a musician seen from behind in a conical hat
Live session

Dakar Session

The collective in the studio, track by track: mics, keyboards, lamps and red drapes. Here they play Mali Spirit.

The collective

Afraw

Two silhouettes, forehead to forehead, in front of the sea

No fixed studio. Music as raw and wild as it is sophisticated.

Lagos in Paris is a collective of producers and performers from West Africa who define their sound as the new electronic music “Afraw”.

Without a fixed studio, they record in various locations, following the people and artists they meet along the way. Their DIY approach reflects their nomadic spirit, where each recording, performance and collaboration adds to their ever-evolving journey.

“This is a collective that builds worlds.”
